Deep inside the dusty boxes and secret folders of our archives, mysteries are waiting to be solved. History isn't just a bunch of dates in a book—it’s made of real letters, old photographs, films, maps and other strange objects that tell many exciting stories. But....the past is hiding!
The Treasure Hunt Through Time virtual scavenger hunt is an activity where students can discover archival gems; including all the strangest and coolest treasures held at local archives. Engaging in a non-traditional approach of promoting archives offers students a fun way to learn about Saskatchewan. The goal is to provide insight into the work of archivists and the wealth of culture and knowledge held in collections throughout the province.
